Welcome to our pages!
We were given a project whilst working at Chelsea to create web pages about life at our school, Christ College and what it is like to take part in the ICT Diploma; on these pages you will be able to see our work. We hope you enjoy learning about our experiences.

What we did….
When we arrived at Chelsea we were initially given a tour around the buildings, this gave us a chance to look around the different departments and explore how they work. We have had many experiences here at Chelsea; for instance we've had talks with many different individuals who specialised in many different areas. We were given 4 different roles and told what each of these roles involved. We had many meetings with people and finally we had to decide which role we would like to do. We were given some time to prepare for interviews, before we actually sat in front of the managers. This was very nerve racking for us but we soon realised that this is a good opportunity to see what it is like to be interviewed. It gave us a helpful insight to what it would be like in later life to have to apply for a job role. We had to choose from three different roles;
Project Manager
Business Systems Analyst
Systems Developer
And one role which we all collaborated on:
Test Analyst
Once our roles were confirmed we began our project, which was to create these web pages that you are viewing. Before we could go ahead and start making these web pages our Project Manager had to create a plan for us all, in which we would all know what we were supposed to do and by what time. We then went on to look at system analysis and requirements for our web pages before moving on to the design part of our project. Once we agreed on everything, the Developers began to write the website. After this stage was completed we all tested the web pages to see if they worked and if they were accessible. Once all of this was done, our web pages were ready for release.
